Glorious find, take all the internets.
Why does the picture look like all Nate wants is cuddles from Brad after a hard day?
Brad’s watching The History Channel when Nate gets home. It’s nothing exiting, a documentary telling him shit he already knows, and he looks up when Nate walks in, eager for something more exiting, but Nate walks straight to the bedroom. Brad idly thinks of following, but Nate’s back before he can decide, changed from his suit into jeans and a red shirt. The colour looks good against his skin, but Brad’s caught off-guard by how Nate looks-tired doesn’t cover it. His eyes are bruised and hooded, skin stretched tight over his cheekbones. His mouth is an unhappy line and there are wrinkles between his eyes that say he’s been frowning a lot today.
He crawls on to the sofa without a word, draping himself over Brad snd burying his face in Brad’s shoulder. Brad’s hands come up automatically to rest on Nate’s back, holding him to him. Nate shivers, presses his nose against Brad’s neck. Brad holds himself still, unsure of what to do. He’s never seen Nate like this.
"Just shut up and hold me," Nate mumbles into Brad’s neck. The words are missing their usual edge, come out pleading rather than demanding. It makes something inside Brad hurt and he wraps his arms around Nate tighter.
"Alright," he says, and means always.
