I’ve had the house to myself all weekend and all I’ve done is watch back-to-back Doctor Who, eat chocolate cereal and draw this.

history. this is why it had to be anders, too. for so many reasons—but also because of stories, and because of histories, and because of history repeating and because of history changing. because of the man in the taproom anders used to be and the man in the taproom he is now—the apostate who couldn’t hold his liquor and the apostate who no longer drinks at all; the one who drank too much with no tolerance because he never knew freedom outside the circle, and the one who doesn’t drink anymore because he’s seen how much freedom there isn’t outside the circle. because each joke was a shield and each sad smile is anything but, the opposite of deflection, a truth he wound up finding. a friend, a companion, a lover, a champion he found, too.
